SYNOPSIS
Gabriel Yared composed the original score of numerous films like Betty Blue by Jean-Jacques Beineix, Camille Claudel by Bruno Nuytten, The Lover by Jean-Jacques Annaud, The English Patient, Cold Mountain, The Talented Mister Ripley and Breaking and Entering by Anthony Minghella.

Through interviews with collaborative personalities like Jean-Hugues Anglade and Jean-Jacques Annaud, we discover his work from the very beginning to the movie theatre projectors.

SYNOPSIS
60 years of successful career, 200 film scores, 70 years of theater … From the most beautiful hours of TNP to the Academy Awards of Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago, Maurice Jarre is a film legend.

He lives between Switzerland and Los Angeles where he invites the audience to a private interview in the heart of his creative universe. In front of his piano, facing a magnificent landscape which surrounds him, he tells the audience about his life made of music, uplifting them into the deepest of his memories.

Interviews: Adrian Lyne, George Miller, Jean Rochefort, Omar Sharif, Peter Weir, Volker Schlöndorff, Jacques Dorfmann, Sandra Lean, Jean-Pierre Mocky.

SYNOPSIS
This film aims to revive the memory of this great composer from the French School, who was driven by the music. He dedicated the major part of his art and of his work to the film score. He was the author of more than 200 film scores.

Very few composers expressed themselves like him through very different genders. Georges Delerue composed for the cinema new wave, (Contempt by Jean-Luc Godard), (Jules and Jim, Day for Night by François Truffaut) but also for the popular cinema of Philippe de Broca (That Man from Rio) and Gerard Oury (The Sucker). He also worked on compositions for television and radio, then for Hollywood with for instance Oliver Stone (Platoon).
